Hey Mom and Dad,
I just wanted to let you know that everything is AMAZING!!! I am having so much fun and I will never forget this experience. I wish I could share this with you because you would be blown away. The culture here is so different than in Canada. Please don't worry about me because I am just fine. I am learning lots and can't wait to tell you EVERYTHING. I love you both. Thanks for the prayer, God has been looking after us every step of the way. To everyone reading this, thank-you so much for your thoughts and prayers, God is touching all of our lives and we will never forget this experience.
I love you lots Mom, Dad and Scott and miss you very much.
Love, Allison xoxo

Dave in Tactic, Guatemala
We are now into our 3rd day of our mission's trip and God has been doing some amazing things in our hearts...mine too. I have been so impressed with the joy and passion of the believers here in Tactic. They have very little in terms of material possessions but their hearts are so full of love and joy. They sing to the Lord from the bottom of their lungs.
To all the parents and family members: Our team is doing well. First 2 days we were very tired as most had a few hours of sleep on planes during our 30 hours to Tactic. JFK airport, which we spent about 6 hours in provided for some fun times and team bonding...stories for when we get home.
Our hearts have been moved as we see what Impact Ministries is doing for hundreds of children in providing education at their 4 schools. These children would never have a chance to learn academically nor have the christian input in to their lives if it weren't for these schools.
More blogs will come over the next days from our team. I just want to say a big hi to my family...I miss you guys...Colleen, Kendra, and Mackenzie, Mom, Dad, Grant and Astrida.

The countdown is on!!! 10 more days until we leave! The Guatemala Mission team is about to embark on the first ever mission trip from Linden Christian School! The skits are practiced. The crafts are packaged. The songs are tuned up. The donations of clothing, soap, toothbrushes, basketballs, soccer balls, skipping ropes, and more, have been distributed to each of us going, to pack into our suitcases. We are excited and humbled to be able to serve God in this capacity!
